What is Mead?

Mead is fermented honey at its core.
Oppegaard Meadery creates an amazing variety of Mead using a wide range of both common and rare ingredients.
Honey is always the main ingredient, but also expect to find fruit, spices, hops, herbs and even tea leaves in the unique Meads we craft.

What to expect in our anachronistic Meadhall hidden in the plain sight of an industrial complex:

• On our typical open days we offer tasting flights for you to try with a huge range of flavors and sweetness levels so you can find your new favorites!

• Bottles, Cans and growlers to go!
